    II.            Background Information
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MoHADM) of Southwest State of Somalia (SWSS) is the principal state institution responsible for managing and coordinating all humanitarian affairs and disaster management activities in SWS. The ministry was officially established in August 2017.
 III.            Description of the position
The Ministry of humanitarian Affairs & Disaster Management, SWS (MOHADM), is seeking to hire ICT Analyst. The information and communication Technology (ICT) shall be responsible for ensuring that ICT systems, equipment and other peripherals are in good working condition and that MoHADM Staffs get the necessary support they need to execute their duties. The ICT Officer will work under the supervision of will work under the supervision of SWS Ministry of humanitarian & Disaster Management Director General (D.G).

This position is 12 (Twelve) months but may be renewed depending on performance and availability of funds. The MOHADM SWS invites applicants who are citizens of Somalia for this position.

Achievement of Deliverables will be approved by the minister. Payment will be made upon certification by supervisor including time sheets for actual dates of work and performance in accordance with activities and deliverables as reported in the activity report.

 IV.            Duties and Responsibilities
·         Provide ICT advice to the MoHADM Team as needed

·         Assess the IT security system at the Ministry, provide recommendations and develop guidelines as needed;

·         Review current IT management system at the Ministry of MoHADM  and  provide recommendations, and draft procedures or guidelines as needed

·         Operation and maintenance of the  MOHADM equipments/systems and installations

·         Designing report documents, Verifying, Validating and certifying of ICT equipment

V: Qualifications
Education:

·         Advanced degree in computer / communication engineering, information technology, computer sciences or other closely related field.

Experience:

·         At least 3 years of relevant experience

·          Experience working with the public sector preferred

VI: Skill Requirements
·         Fluency in an English language and Somali – Knowledge of MaayMaay is an added advantage

·          Excellent communication skills
