INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTARCTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION/REHABILIATTION WORKS IN SOUTHWEST STATE OF SOMALIA UNDER THE EUROPEAN UNION FUNDED- RAPID NATIONWIDE STABILIZATION PROJECT.

INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTARCTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION/REHABILIATTION WORKS IN SOUTHWEST STATE OF SOMALIA UNDER THE EUROPEAN UNION FUNDED- RAPID NATIONWIDE STABILIZATION PROJECT.

DATE: 29^th October  2023

NIS is looking for qualified contractor to undertake the Construction/rehabilitation works in Southwest State of Somalia. All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to submit their applications together with below listed support documentations and other requirements for consideration:

1. Licences/Registrations (12 Marks): The company should submit the following registrations/

• Valid registration or operating license permits from the Ministries of public works, Reconstruction & Housing at Federal Government of Somalia and at State level – Southwest State.
• Statement of ownership (3 marks): The company shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company (a list of Full Names, positions contact details and shares)
• Tax compliance certificate (5 Marks): Submit evidence of valid State level tax compliance certificate.

Note1: All registrations will be shared with the relevant authorities for clearance. Those who fail to submit a valid/genuine registrations will not concorded in the next stage of analysis.

2. Experience (19 Marks for each submitted contract as per below table, total 57Marks): The company should fill in the below table for previous 3 main relevant/similar contracts on construction/rehabilitation works that the company has implemented with Government institutions, INGO’s or UN agencies and attach 3 respective contracts.

Note2: Fake contracts will lead automatic disqualification. NIS will do reference checking to the contracts with the implementing agencies if needed.

3. Human and material resources (8 Marks): Possess necessary resources, human and material, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of all relevant personnel i.e., engineers and list of all readily available equipment owned or rented by the company).
4. Company Finances (2 Marks): presents a dully signed statement/declaration confirming that the company is financially in good position and able to pre-finance project works as this is necessary.

All interested contractors/suppliers are requested to send electronically all the above support documents/requirements to NIS Foundation latest 11^th November  2023 before 11:59PM (Local time – Mid-Night) through this email:
