Project Description:

The project aims to strengthen resilience for internationally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees and host communities in Baidoa District through an increase in employment opportunities especially for young people and women and supporting the local government, non-governmental and private-sector actors to achieve a higher employment rate for the target groups.

Tasks of the expert pool

• Data collection and analysis.
• Consideration of cross-cutting issues (e.g. gender equality).
• Support of impact monitoring.
• ​Support regular and timely reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications of the expert pool

• Education/training: Each expert with a university degree (bachelor’s) in data collection or social sciences or development studies or urban economics or gender studies or human rights or political science or business administration or monitoring and evaluation or conflict studies.
• Languages: Each expert with knowledge of Somali, C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Language.
• General professional experience: Each expert with 5 years of professional experience in the monitoring sector or data collection or gender issues or conflict sensitivity.
• Regional experience: Each expert with 5 years of work experience in Baidoa District.
