Project Overview:
The Ministry of Justice of Southwest State invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the upgrading of Baidoa Prison. This RFQ aims to enhance the security and safety measures of the facility, focusing on the protection of the staircase for the four watch towers and reinforcing the iron bars for the prison cells.
Scope of Work:
1. Staircase Protection:
– Assess the current condition of the staircases in all four watch towers.
– Following the given designs, construct a protective barriers to prevent unauthorized access.
– Ensure that the protection does not impede the functionality of the watch towers.
2. Reinforcement of Iron Bars:
– Evaluate the existing iron bars in all prison cells for structural integrity.
– Reinforce or replace the iron bars to prevent breakage or tampering.
– The reinforcement should meet the standard prison security requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Detailed technical proposal outlining the approach to the staircase protection and iron bar reinforcement.
- Project timeline with milestones and completion dates.
- Itemized budget including labor, materials, and any other associated costs.
- Company Profile
- Proof of 1 previous experience in similar projects.
- Valid licenses for construction Works.
- Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
- Financial stability to undertake the project.
Proposal Submission:
Proposals should be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in the RFP documentation. Bidders are required to provide a detailed technical and financial proposal, including timelines, budgets, and methodologies.
Deadline for Submission:
Proposals must be submitted by 27th July 2024, as detailed in the RFP documentation to the following emails or by hand delivering to MOJ SWS office in Baidoa.
